Installment Plan

• Withdrawals during the first installment period will be charged the full first installment plus 50% of the second installment.

• Withdrawals during the second or third installment periods are not eligible for refunds or credits under any circumstance.

Performance Class FAQs

What if I’ve never performed before?

Everyone has a first time. Prior performance experience is not required; however, this program is not for beginner dancers. An intermediate level of dance training is required.

What if I’m not sure the class is right for me?

Each class has a designated level. If you’re unsure, speak with the choreographer before registering. We recommend attending one of their drop-in classes to assess fit. Once registered, commitment is essential, as your choreographer and fellow dancers depend on you.

What happens if I miss a class?

You are responsible for learning missed material. You may:

• Review filmed choreography

• Practice with fellow dancers

• Book a private lesson with your choreographer at their regular private rate

Missed classes are not eligible for credits, makeups, or refunds.

What kind of costumes will we wear and how much do they cost?

Costumes are chosen collaboratively by the choreographer and class. Budgets typically range from $75–$100, though costs may vary.

Who attends the show?

Our showcase has sold out every year. This year, we celebrate 24 years of City Dance Corps. Audience members include friends, family, industry professionals, choreographers, and dance enthusiasts.

What happens if I drop out?

• First installment period: Full first installment plus 50% of the second installment will be charged.

• After April 15, 2026: No refunds or credits under any circumstance.

• Early Bird registrations: No refunds or credits under any circumstance.

What if I need more practice?

Rehearsal is essential. Dancers are encouraged to practice independently and with their group. City Dance Corps provides free same-day rehearsal space for performance classes (subject to availability and booked by calling the studio the night before or same day). Advance studio bookings are available for a small fee.

What happens on show day?

The Showcase Production Manager will share all details, including call times, tech rehearsals, and backstage procedures. Each group receives a 15-minute tech rehearsal on stage between 11:00 AM and 5:00 PM. After the show, performers are invited to celebrate at the Afterparty at the Great Hall, with free admission for performers.

How do I pay?

You may choose to:

• Pay in full by January 31, 2026 to receive the Early Bird discount, or

• Enroll in a three-payment installment plan (dates provided during registration)
